Teens in Action

ACTION is refocusing its program of work to include youth development thru a series of youth led leadership initiatives. This component under ACTION is known as Teens in Action and focuses on mentoring, conflict resolution, self-esteem, increasing the use of technology, cultural diversity education, financial smart techniques (including entrepreneurship), voter education trainings, developing critical thinking skills (reading, writing, arithmetic) to use in community organizing techniques and leadership skills workshops to educate and expose youth to new opportunities as a means to enhance their quality of life.
