Equal Voice: America’s Family Story,

A new online publication that brings the often-unheard

experiences of low-income families into the public dialogue.

To encourage individuals to become involved in the decision-making process of their communities and schools to bring about positive social change.

Our vision is to ensure that low-income and disenfranchised people participate in the decision-making process in their communities thru an intergenerational model by involving adults and young people in projects that will prepare them to become accountable leaders in their communities and schools.

Action Communication and Education Reform, Inc., also known as Concerned Citizens of Montgomery County was founded in 1997 to bring parents, students and community together to work to create a first rate, quality educational opportunity for poor and African American families.
